Use Secure Key on a Mac

On a Mac, the 1st-time experience may be confusing. So we devote this document to help 1st-time users.
  1. Under "About this Mac" / "More info..." / USB, Secure Key can be found.

  2. Under "System Preferences" / "Keyboard & Mouse", a button "Change keyboard type..." appears for non-Apple keyboards

  3. The "Keyboard setup assistant" appears the first time the key is plugged into the computer. It is okay just to close this dialog. If not, just press continue, and...

  4. The "Identifying your keyboard" dialog appears. Press the key here and although the OS discovers that it cannot possible be the right one, it proceeds to the next dialog.

  5. The "Select keyboard type" dialog. Select ANSI and press 'Done'.
