Dance Server ("we", "us", or "our") is a backend service that powers the Dance Tutor mobile application. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

• Year of birth and sex (used to calculate age-group leaderboards)
• Dance session data — scores, timestamps, and the dance template you practiced
• Video files you upload as dance templates
• Optional profile notes you choose to provide

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate your account and authenticate you
• To calculate leaderboard rankings (best scores, dances completed, streaks)
• To store and serve the dance template videos you upload
• To improve the reliability and performance of the service

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your username and leaderboard scores are visible to other users of the app. All other account details are kept private.

5. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed before storage. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, though no system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Dance Server is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
